A Cry for Justice - Volume 06

Challenges in the Land of Pakistan: A Cry for Justice

In current times, Pakistan faces a tumultuous situation, with citizens grappling with news of leaders engaged in fraud and corruption. Inner strife compounds existing threats to the nation's sovereignty. As the truth unfolds, the general sentiment among citizens questions who will ensure justice when rulers themselves are implicated in wrongdoing.

The prevailing environment in Pakistan reflects an unsettling image due to corrupt leaders tarnishing the country's reputation. Unfortunately, voicing concerns for justice, rights, and rectifying mistakes appears to be a risky endeavor. Historical precedent suggests that those who dared to raise their voices for truth and justice met unfortunate fates. The moral decay is eating away at Pakistan's image globally.

Religious extremism further stains Pakistan's reputation, causing its citizens, especially minorities, to seek refuge abroad. Foreign-based Pakistanis yearn for a positive transformation, but political asylum seekers reveal the harsh reality of a system that has failed to change after key figures' murders, like Sir Liaqat Ali Khan, Shahbaz, and Bishop John Joseph , .

Despite efforts from reformers and thinkers like Nazir S.Bhatti, the system remains resistant to change. Scholars lament the prevailing law of the jungle, where power overrides justice, moral values hold little weight, and human rights seem to have devolved into inhuman rights.

The tragic outcome is evident in the fate of those who opposed the powerful—either directly killed or handed over to extremist groups. The unresolved murder of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto remains a glaring example of moral corruption within the system.

In this dysfunctional political climate, Christian representatives in the assemblies seem to act as puppets, catering to party interests rather than championing the rights of the Christian community. The systemic flaws result in ministers engaging in immoral activities, further alienating communities.

The plight of Pakistani Christians is heartbreaking, as they find themselves used as pawns, facing injustice, abuse, and discrimination. Seeking asylum becomes a dire necessity for those who have lost faith in the system's ability to protect their basic rights and morality.

Amid the chaos, the cry for justice intensifies, as Pakistani Christians yearn for a land free from persecution, corruption, and injustice. The hope is for divine intervention to bless Pakistan and its diverse communities, ushering in an era of peace and prosperity.
